The 3rd Namibian, Icelandic International Chess Tournament 2008 will be hosted from 1-5 May 2008 at the Thuringer Hof Hotel, Windhoek Namibia.
This is an open event which allows any person who can play chess to participate. We have three sections this year and are looking forward to a strong event

The 4th Sanlam Namibia National Chess Championships 2008 started and ended with a high note. Frans Dennis played his best chess ever to clinched the title. EICHAB WON INDEPENDENCE BLITZ FOR SECOND YEAR |

Charles Eichab, the National Champion of Namibia defended his title sucessfully this past weekend when he won the first leg with a perfect score of 7/7 and tie for first with Nakapunada and Nitzborn each scoring 5.5/7 in the second leg of the event. Read more later!!...Read more |
